ABOUT

WHO WE ARE

We are Emory University’s nationally recognized student-run literary review founded in 1990. Our annual issue is published both online and in print. We are based in Atlanta, Georgia, and are named after the beautiful Lullwater Preserve located within Emory’s campus.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We accept poetry, prose, and visual art submissions from authors local and global. We rarely accept submissions from Emory students, but our contributors submit from all across the world–from Canada to New Zealand. Send us writing that is striking either in content or in form–we look for work that is fresh, emotionally affecting, and well-crafted. See our submission guidelines here.

OUR PROCESS

Every submission is reviewed by Lullwater’s editorial staff, which is comprised of Emory undergraduates passionate about art and literature. Our membership meets weekly to discuss submissions and select the best for publication. If you are an Emory student interested in joining our general body, please contact emorylullwaterreview@gmail.com to attend a meeting.

WHERE TO FIND US
